Little actionss of kindness with great passion - GO GREEN !!

All the Pakistanis celebrate Independence Day on 14th August with complete zeal and enthusiasm. It is the day to rejoice our freedom. This day reminds us of the sacrifice of thousands of the people to build up an independent nation for us!!
This time, Pakistan girls guide association (junior guides) launched a project “Little actions of kindness with great passion 2012” for celebrating the Independence Day. In this project, all the members of the junior guides prepared different easy handmade things. Like the Pakistani badges, flags, handmade jewelries, painted pots, decoration pieces and lot more on their own. The guides were so fervent about the project and showed their complete concern by the full commitment and their dedications towards making this project a big triumph. And it surely was a successful project.

Preparation of the the celebration of independence day

On 14th August, we did the fundraising by selling all the stuff made by the little stars. We were so pleased all of our stuff was sold. The idea behind the fundraising inspired many people. They made their contribution by donating for the great cause. The appreciation was countless. People were motivated by the idea that all the funds that we raised are going to be used for the “underprivileged children”.

As Eid is going to be on the next week, we have decided to go in one of the slums of Karachi with presents like clothes, shoes, toys, candies and chocolates and much for the children who cannot enjoy their Eid.

Everyone will be busy celebrating the festival with their families and relatives, or with their friends. Junior Guides of Pakistan took the initiative to celebrate the Eid with the unfortunate children.

Take action to make the world a better place for you and me... For all of us!!

Happy Independence Day!!
